Getting Traffic to Your Blogs

It doesn’t do a whole lot of good to blog if no one reads it. You have to ping your blog.

If you use Blogger.com for your blogging, make certain you immmediately head over to Pingomatic.com and ping your blog to the appropriate places. Generally the listings above the line.

If you use Wordpress, it’s easier. Simply follow these steps and every time you blog - you will automatically ping.

Go to Options
Then click on Writing

Copy and paste these feeds and add below www.pingomatic.com:

http://bulkfeeds.net/rpc
http://ping.myblog.jp
http://ping.bitacoras.com
http://www.blogpeople.net/servlet/weblogUpdates
http://ping.bloggers.jp/rpc/
http://bblog.com/ping.php

That’s it. You blog - it pings.
